We work with authorities of the host country to assist Namibian victims of crime, monitor arrests of and visits to incarcerated Namibian citizens to ensure that they are being treated in a manner consistent with local and international law, and locate missing Namibians. We are also responsible for assisting Namibian citizens in our consular district in the event of natural disasters or other large-scale emergencies.

The Embassy only issue visas for holders of Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders. For short term business/work (employment) visas as well as tourist visas please apply directly to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security at https://eservices.mhaiss.gov.na/

The Consular Section is open from 9:00 am to 13h00 pm Monday through Wednesday, except on Namibian and German Public Holidays. Telephone enquiries should please be made from Monday to Friday from 14h00 to 16h00 during winter and 14h00 to 17h00 during summer.
